A simple tutorial on how to crochet a herringbone stitch sweater. Its very fast working and can be done in 2 to 3 days.
Materials
500 - 700g acrylic yarn
7 mm and 9 mm hooks
Darning needle for seaming
Stitch markers
How to adjust measurements:
Take your chest measurements using tape measure , then add 6 inches allowance. For example mine is 34 inches, add 6 inches to equal 40 inches. That's why my sample is 20 inches per panel.
For sleeves circumference, add 2 inches to upper arm measurements.
Gauge :
9 sts equal 4 inches
7 rows equal 4 inches
