After returning from the Other Dimension, Doron alerted the Cat Army that he noticed something very wrong with his former home. Doron revealed that he was a guardian of the Ancient Forest Labyrinth, guarding a font of biological power used in the creation of the original Doron masks. Upon his return, he found that invaders had infiltrated the labyrinth and stole this power for themselves. Knowing the danger this could pose, the Cat Army returned to the labyrinth to investigate...

The research team is honored to report the birth of near-perfect life. Prolonged exposure to the paleobacteria within the labyrinth’s crypt has reformed the Idi model left within. Previously thought to be limitless in the old models, these new lifeforms have shown even greater power than before. However, the greatest breakthrough has nothing to do with their potential for power. Upon our return to the crypt, the Idi model had multiplied into 27 perfect replicas of itself, all subjects sharing the same power potential. Our research of perfect life has borne fruit: a single lifeform capable of producing an entire species with limitless potential on its own. We call this new lifeform Idi:Ne. Master, we implore you to continue research on the new Idi:Ne species and help us engineer a solution to its mortality. We may have the potential to surpass our original goals. Through science, we will create Gods to roam the new Earth. We hope we've made you proud, Master Nova.

Introducing Idi:Ne:

Idi:Ne is the final form of Idi, boasting... weaker stats? With 555,555 HP and only 50,000 attack, Idi:Ne doesn't really look like much of a boss. Compared to the original Idi, this Idi loses Strengthen, but gains Wave and Surge Immune, preventing Uril and Doron especially from working as well as they would otherwise.

Taking down this Idi works the same as the original, except much easier. However, the stage has 27 of them in total. While one is much weaker, 27 of them (up to 9 at a time) can overwhelm your defenses insanely easily. Uril is no use here due to Idi's Surge Immune and neither is Dumpling due to Idi's Wave Immune. Your goal here is to keep the Idis synced as long as possible. A stack of them can run over everything except Rock, Doron, and Dogumaru. Units such as Doron, Superfeline, Luza, and Yulala work great for keeping the Idis synced up as you take them down.

The stage starts off very simple with only 2 incredibly weak Doge Darks before the boss Idi spawns. Take down both of them with Rock for cash and lure the first Idi to take it down with your own Idi. This removes the Boss Guard from the enemy base which will help to apply early pressure. With the help of Breakerblast, you can keep the enemies pinned at their base for a while, though you will likely get overrun eventually. From there, cycle your Legends to slowly take down the horde of Idis. Don't worry too much about Nyandam, though he will cause Yulala chains to end. Once the last Idi goes down you can take as much time as you need to take down Nyandam afterward.

Beating this stage will allow you to evolve Idi into her True Form, Idi:NX. To evolve Idi, you need 3 Yellow Behemoth Gems and 5 Epic Behemoth Stones.

In her True Form, Idi:NX gains +20% HP (40,500 to 48,600), changes Massive Damage to Insane Damage, and adds Sage Slayer and Explosion Immune. The most important change here is the Insane Damage modifier, changing a Lv 50 Idi's damage vs Relic from 283,500 to 472,500. This brings Idi's effective DPS to a whopping 100,530. This change is monumental, allowing Idi to obliterate literally every Relic enemy in the game. Puffington and Loris die to a single hit, with Othom taking 2 and M. Ost taking 3 to kill. This additional power is ABSURD. I didn't think an anti-Relic could get more busted than Gigapult but here we are. The best part is that you can use Idi:NX for the entirety of Starred UL.

As for Idi's other buffs, the HP buff allows her to take an extra hit from most enemies, which is a nice bonus. Sage Slayer and Explosion Immune are very niche abilities, since the application is limited for now. Idi can help against Sages such as Technold though. There is only one enemy with Explosion as of now, also being a Relic Sage who Idi is designed to counter. Only time will tell how useful Idi's Sage Slayer ends up being.
