Dewalt 735 Planer | Unboxing & Setup

Описание: Unboxing & setting up our new Dewalt 735!

Below are the primary steps for setting up the 735:
1. Remove all components
2. Test all switches
3. Add debris port
4. Add infeed/outfeed trays
5. Level infeed/outfeed trays
6. Inspect blade assembly
7. Test

The primary reason for purchasing a mechanical planer is for quicker dimensioning and surfacing. We’ll be putting together a video which goes over dimensioning by hand and mechanically and what should be considered when dimensioning mechanically.

Why did I choose the Dewalt 735X?
I’ve heard excellent things about the planer online and it’s fit in a hobby to low production environment
The assisted chip removal has been praised as strong enough to need no additional suction
It’s upgradable to a helical carbide cutting head
It’s mobile enough to move shops if necessary
The 735X came with an extra set of blades and had the in/outfeed tables
