How to throw PLATES out of clay!

Описание: In this video we go throw the steps and tools needed to throw plates on the wheel out of clay. We first make a smaller side plate and then we move to a larger style dinner plate. I hope this video helps you with your plates as they have proven to be a frustrating thing for me to make!

My 2 keys to making plates are....
#1 Compress the middle.
#2 Make sure they dry consistently and slowly.
