What started as the Spartas from the anime Super Dimensional Calvary Southern Cross became known as the Veritech Hover Tank when it was stitched into the Robotech saga. Robotech proved very popular, and as part of the toyline Matchbox produced this version, meant for 3 3/4 sized figures.
Since Southern Cross has no visibility on its own, and is the least popular segment of Robotech, its amazing this toy exists at all!
But the design is cool, and as a toy the thing is solid, fun, and HUGE.
