HOBIE OUTBACK MAIDEN VOYAGE!! Bream and Flathead on Surface lures. Brothers who fish

Описание: I was pretty stocked to have had a new Hobie Outback delivered just before Christmas. James Kilpatrick from Hunter Water Sports looked after me and delivered it to Sydney just in time for Christmas and my holiday break. James is a super helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to all thinks Hobie Kayaks and equipment, and I also ordered my Hobie Lynx from James 2 years ago along with some accessories to deck it out. Thanks James for your great service and prompt delivery, I have had a few great sessions already and have been putting it through its paces.
This was the maiden voyage for my new Outback and what better way to spend the morning than with your brother on the Hacking River. So we met up early one morning and headed out keen to get onto some fish and test my new Hobie.
We did not have to wait long when we got to our chosen location and on the 2nd cast I landed a nice Bream on a Tiemco Cicada soft shell lure to get things rolling. It was followed quickly with big brother landing a 40cm Bream also on a Cicada. We had a great session on the Bream with plenty of boils and a few missed fish. As the tide went out we followed it onto the flats and changed rigs to target Flathead. The fish were on the chew and we landed a stack of nice flathead on the OSP Belt 130mm lure. All fish were caught on the surface and this was also fun.
A cracking little session and a great way to christen my new Outback with a swag of fish.
