Описание: International Child Abduction - Polish Courts Dismiss Canadian Father's Case To Bring Missing / Abducted Sons Back to Canada From Poland - An Ontario father named Stephen Watkins was in Poland, fighting in a Polish Appeals Court to bring his two missing son's home to Canada after being located two and a half years later. The polish Court Decision was announced on May 29 which dismissed the Appeal. Even the Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper and the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk are asked a questions by the media on this high profile International Child Abduction case while both in Ottawa. The two Canadian boys which were 4 years and 7 years old were abducted from Canada in March 2009 by their non-custodial mother using a Canceled Canadian Passport and what Canada's National Police ( RCMP ) stated in 2010 as one of Canada's worst International Child Abductions from Canada. The father of the abducting mother has been arrested and charged for assisting in the abduction which is still before the criminal courts in Ontario, Canada. The father plans to appeal this case in the European Courts.

"Watkins Missing Children" - International Child Abduction case

TORONTO, CANADA / POLAND, POLSKA - We told you last week about an Ontario father who tracked down his missing children in Poland after a two and a half year search, well today he lost his fight to bring them home.

Poland's Appeal Court has thrown out Stephen Watkins appeal even though his two sons were taken by his ex-wife who did not have custody. Parental Kidnapping is illegal under international laws and despite an arrest warrant issued by the royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) a Polish Judge claims the boys have already adapted to their new lives in Poland their mother native country.

We asked Canada's foreign affairs department weather they will intervene but have not yet received a response.

"Both Canada and Poland have signed a treaty that says that International Child Abduction is a crime... No one should have to fight this hard to get their abducted children home" says Stephen Watkins

Watkins says he will now take his case to the European Courts of Human Rights.
