For the 23rd time in program history, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are West Coast Conference Tournament champions.
The Zags never led in the first half and battled back from down by eight to beat the Santa Clara Broncos 79-68 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
Mario Saint-Supery led the Zags with 21 points, including six made 3-pointers, while Tyon Grant-Foster added 20 points and seven rebounds, and Graham Ike put up 15 points on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting night.
After the nets came down and the celebration ended, Gonzaga head coach Mark Few, Ike, and Grant-Foster spoke to the media about the win, what it meant to the team and to them personally, and the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
Coach Few talked about what it took to complete the comeback, reflected on his time in the WCC, what it took to build such a successful program, the hardship and adversity this team has faced this season, and more.
