Описание: The Plasmadynamics and Electric Propulsion Laboratory (PEPL), led by U-M Aerospace Engineering Associate Professor Benjamin Jorns, focuses on advancing research in space propulsion systems, particularly Electric Propulsion (EP). The five-year, $35 M Space Power and Propulsion for Agility, Responsiveness and Resilience (SPAR) Institute, led by the University of Michigan and funded by the U.S. Space Force (USSF), combines expertise from eight universities and 14 industry partners and advisors, with Professor Jorns as the institute director. SPAR has quickly become one of the nation’s largest efforts to advance space power and propulsion.
