Many of Britain's servicemen and women feel undervalued and alienated by society after leaving the armed forces.
That's the finding of a study by a military charity, which says younger veterans especially, struggle to adapt to civilian life. Now it's calling on the public to do more to help them.
The public are being urged to include #1000messages in social media posts to support a campaign by The Poppy Factory to help veterans back into work.
