Have you ever opened a Word document and seen the markup area full of comments and edits you don’t need? This video will show you how to remove the markup area in MS Word quickly and easily.


When you work on shared documents or track changes, Word displays a markup area showing edits and comments. But if you just want a clean view of your document, you can hide it in a few simple steps.


To remove the markup area in Word, go to the Review tab and click on All Markup. From the drop-down menu, select No Markup and you’re done. Your document will now appear clean without showing any tracked changes or comments.
