I have been listening to Olly’s solo project all year! The Waves EP was an excellent addition to my playlists this year, but I always really loved Try. It is so refreshing to hear rhythmic playing in a softer context with clean vocals only. Playing in 12/8 time is so bouncy and fun too. It has such a unique feeling when playing to the click.

This is my first cover with my Schecter USA AM-6! I’ve had it for about a year and it has been a joy having it in my hands. The build quality is really something else. The one piece maple neck combined with the build quality of the Schecter USA custom shop is incredible. It’s smooth as butter under the left hand and it sounds incredible in any context. It absolutely crushes split coil tones in low-gain, and obviously it sings in a high-gain context as well.
