CJ Roy was found dead at his Richmond Circle office and later declared dead at the hospital. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has written to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, demanding a judicial investigation into the circumstances of his death and the conduct of I-T officials.

CJ Roy’s family will soon issue an official statement, with a press conference scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. His grieving son, Rohith Roy, expressed shock and thanked the media for support. A special investigation team is examining statements, call records, digital communications, and employee accounts. CJ Roy’s last rites were performed on Sunday.
