Spock has been haunted by dreams he's been having: Dreams of another life. When he's with Uhura, he can't help but think of the dreams, and he's beginning to think that being with her isn't what he is destined to do, and that his true destiny lies with Jim. He's confused; the James T. Kirk he knows is so different from the one he sees in his dreams, and he wants to know him better.
In a way, I made this video as a way to show that even with this new movie and all its hype, it is important that everyone remembers TOS, as it is the soul of Star Trek and all that it is. I want people to understand that in another life, Kirk and Spock loved each other. Whether you want to call it slash or not, it was undeniably love for one another.
