Stormwheel V2 — final Onewheel build
This is the production version of my DIY Onewheel series.
V1 (last video) was a prototype; this is the refined, ride-every-day V2.

After months of design, prototyping and countless failed prints, the project is finally done. In this video I walk through the full build: from CAD and CNC work to 3D printing in Nylon PA6, building a custom battery, and wiring everything up — including a custom footpad sensor, display, and smart LED lights.

• Motor: 4 kW
• Battery: 18S2P (70 A continuous / 120 A peak)
• Frame: 10 mm CNC, sandblasted black anodized
• Range: ~28 km
• Weight: ~13 kg
• Top speed? …let’s just say I haven’t dared to go beyond 30 km/h yet.

This video is not a tutorial, it’s a deep-dive into the engineering of a complete DIY Onewheel build, with real-world challenges and honest progress.
