Ingredients:
80g fried black sesame seeds
30g peanut kernels
60g sugar
20g water
40g melted lard
3g yeast
250g flour
20g crushed black sesame powder
140g warm water
20g Sesame paste
Instructions:
1. Crushed the fried black sesame seeds 80g and peanut kernels 30g.
2. Prepare the black sesame filling by mixing fried black sesame seeds 80g with crushed peanut kernels 30g, sugar 40g, water 20g, and melted lard 40g.
3. Stir well and chill in the refrigerator until solid.
4. Once solidified, form 20-gram balls from the black sesame filling.
5. In a separate bowl, combine yeast 3g, sugar 20g, crushed black sesame powder 20g, flour 250g, and warm water 140g.
Stir until it forms a soft dough.
6. Shape them into long strips and divide the dough into 40g portions .
7. Flatten each portions into a disc, thinner at the edges.
8. Add a dollop of sesame paste 20g in the center of each disc and seal the edges to create small, embryo-shaped buns.
9. Let the buns rest in a warm place for half an hour until they rise.
10 . Steam the buns in the cold water, when the water is boiling, steam for about 12 minutes in a steamer until fully cooked.
