On April 6th John Hewitt & the New Americans made their debut at the Yardbird Suite in Edmonton. Historically a Jazz venue they offer an array of genres and crossover shows allowing John and the gang to jump from folk to Americana, country, jazz and rock. Here is "Shot Down" a song originally written in Toronto around 2015 about a Malaysian flight that went missing.
