Описание: The Walrus Audio D1 Delay is a welter weight champ. Sized up, it comes close to the “regular” delays you’ve come to expect from this form factor but there is a twist. The D1 boats all the trappings of an intelligent delay machine 3 times it’s size and, in some cases, even outclasses them in sound quality and feature set. Modes like the Vintage Delay can be swung from murky analog voices delays to crisp, articulate tape quality while the reverse delay, when appropriately paired with the attack control, may currently hold the belt for “favorite reverse delay ever.” With simple and straightforward MIDI control to round out the set up, this small wonder holds it’s own well within and without it’s weight class.

Metaphors aside. Vintage mode has some of the best delay tones I’ve ever heard. The repeats are brilliantly crafted and the revers delay ages into the past in a way that I truly love. Let’s give this thing a listen.
