Описание:
A liquid solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substances where a liquid acts as the solvent (the component present in the largest amount). In these solutions, the solute (the substance being dissolved) can be a solid, a liquid, or a gas.

Types of Solutions
Classification by Solute State
Liquid solutions are categorized based on the physical state of the solute being dissolved in the liquid solvent:
Solid in Liquid: A solid solute dissolves in a liquid solvent. Examples include salt in water or sugar in water.
Liquid in Liquid: Both solute and solvent are liquids. These occur when two miscible liquids are mixed, such as ethanol in water (alcoholic beverages) or acetic acid in water (vinegar).
Gas in Liquid: A gaseous solute is dissolved in a liquid solvent. Examples include carbon dioxide in soft drinks (soda) or oxygen dissolved in water, which allows aquatic life to breathe.
Key Chemical Properties
Homogeneity: The composition is uniform throughout, and individual components cannot be seen even with a microscope.
Particle Size: Dissolved particles are extremely small, typically less than 1 nanometer in diameter.
Stability: The solute particles do not settle out over time and cannot be separated from the solvent by simple filtration.
Colligative Properties: These are physical properties that depend only on the number of solute particles, not their identity. They include vapor pressure lowering, boiling point elevation, freezing point depression, and osmotic pressure.
