We are in for Day 2 of the Under-19 World Cup 2026, and we are already up for a mighty clash, as Pakistan Under-19 will face England Under-19 at the Takashinga Sports Club in Harare on Friday (January 16).

The English boys last won the Under-19 World Cup in 1998, led by Owais Shah. It is England's only title in the history of the U19 World Cup. However, this edition is their best chance to bag their first silverware after 28 long years. This time, they will be captained by Surrey's Thomas Rew. Meanwhile, England's batting core includes Ben Dawkins and Joe Moores, and the bowling is heavily relying on the shoulders of Farhan Ahmed and Manny Lumsden.

In the build-up to the tournament, England U19 bagged two critical victories over India U19 and New Zealand U19 in the warm-up games. However, they are coming off a fresh series defeat, 5-2, to the West Indies in the Caribbean.
