We have so many projects going on at Salvage to Savage! We're just about done getting twin turbo DeLorean ready to hit the road, the Tesla swapped C10 is about to get a brand new suspension set up, and we're about to start fabricating our turbo system for the twin turbo LSX swapped Chevelle. And even with the garage packed full of cars, we found a way to fit a lifted K10 squarebody into our schedule! When our friend Kyle brought us this 4wd Chevy, we knew exactly what needed to be done to bring this truck up to S2S standards. So we found ourselves a junkyard LS to replace the 383 stroker it's currently running with. We picked up a salvaged 6.0 to try and save some money but ended up digging a little bit deeper into our pockets than we expected to get this motor running right. Once we broke into the block we started seeing some issue that definitely needed to be addressed. But even with the machine work, new internal parts, as well as all the wiring and accessories we'd need to get this motor running, we're still going to end up with a performance packed engine for the same price as a stock, drop-in, pallet set up would cost us! Make sure to hti that subscribe button because the next time you see this truck, we're going to be rebuilding the 6.0 and getting it ready to take its place in the K10 engine bay. And while we wait for the block to come back from Mesa Balancing, we'll be showing you guys the turbo DMC 12 first start up and test drive, the pushrod suspension on our EV truck, along with all of the fabrication progress on the LSX Chevelle.
