In July 2015, Mattel re-released the Silver Racers as exclusives to Walmart. The Silver Racers were originally Kmart exclusives for the K-Days in 2012, half of the racers were released on the spring K-Day and the other half on the fall K-Day.
According to the 2015 Silver Racer cardback, after the World Grand Prix, the racers created the Transcontinental Race of Champions (TROC) in which they held the "Silver" race and potentially the "Neon" and "Ice" races
