Aine, one of our Senior Social Work Practitioners who is based in Newry Health Village, has been able to do transform bereavement care in a primary care setting through the Social Work and Community Development Approaches (SWCDA) programme. She used her initiative to create compassionate pathways for patients and families to help them navigate loss with dignity and connection.
The SWCDA is accepting applications (open to post AYE social workers who have completed a minimum of two requirements of their Consolidation Award for the 2025-26 year).
