Описание: On March 18, 2021, Asilia Africa and IFAW cohosted a “campfire conversation” on Sundowners & Safaris: Envisioning the future of conservation travel. Designed to inspire and energize travel plans, the discussion endeavored to answer “what’s next” for travelers — especially those with a passion for conservation tourism and East Africa as a key destination. As travel restrictions ease and the vaccine rolls out, we anticipate a new and profoundly rewarding era for adventurous safari goers. What are the best new approaches to travel and exploration? What safety protocols are in place? What you can expect to see—from national parks to game reserves? Is the old model of wildlife viewing as an economic driver still viable? What lessons have we learned?
