“Beautiful Myth”
During a one-week Christmas break, I challenged myself—and my 70-year-old parents—to create this musical production from scratch.
In this piece, I play the zither (guzheng), my mom and I perform Classical Chinese dance, and my dad and I play a hulusi duet. None of it was prepared in advance. We learned, practiced, and created everything within just one week—and we made it.
This project is more than a performance. It is a celebration of courage, creativity, and family.
Parental love is the most beautiful myth in the world—and I am incredibly fortunate to have it.
