Reputation. Many people post on social media demonstrating lousy behavior or simply not doing good things.

Constant cussing. Cursing often, whether speaking, emailing, posting, or texting, will make you look like an idiot. You need to have the ability to speak eloquently and get your point across.

Gossiping. If you're talking about other people, people will realize what you're doing, and you will have a difficult time genuinely connecting with others. They're never going to trust you.

Ignorance. If you're stupid, if you don't seek knowledge, and if you say insensitive things, these actions will hold you back.
Always blaming others. There's nothing worse than somebody who never accepts responsibility for their actions or when they make a mistake. Have the ability to say you're sorry.
Being needy and clingy. Nobody wants to be that person, and nobody wants to date that person. Also, don't be that person who snoops through other people's phones.
Little to no control over emotions. If you freak out over the littlest thing or get super jealous for no reason, it's embarrassing. People don't want to deal with this.
Apologizing incessantly. Be able to stand up for yourself. If you have an opinion, it's okay to speak it. If they don't like it, screw them. It's your opinion. If your opinion is wrong, find out why.
Being fat and sloppy. If you're not taking care of yourself physically, you will miss out on opportunities professionally, socially, and romantically. Society is visual, and people judge if you're not caring for yourself.
Being whiny is an embarrassing trait that will hold you back. Take ownership of your life because nobody's going to save you.
