Make a SCRAPPY Quilt with me! Perfect 5 Quilts: TWO ways to make HSTs for the Pizzelle Quilt Block 🧵

Описание: Hey everyone! Welcome to my channel where I share my passion for quilting. Today I have a super fun and easy project for you: a scrappy quilt made from charm squares. This is a great way to use up all those leftover pieces of fabric that you have lying around. Or, if you prefer, you can also use a coordinated fabric line for this quilt. The pattern is from the Perfect 5 Quilts book by It’s Sew Emma, and it’s one of the simplest ones to follow!

To make this quilt, you need 64 blocks, each made from four half-square triangles. You can either use the traditional method of drawing diagonal lines on your squares, or you can use triangle paper to speed up the process. I love using Triangles on a Roll because they make trimming so easy and accurate. I’ll leave a link in the description box below.

For the sashing, I chose a solid cream fabric to make the colors pop. And for the borders, I have two options that I can’t decide between. One is this gorgeous orange print from Fig Tree’s All Hallow Eve collection. I’m obsessed with this fabric line, it’s so beautiful and festive. The other option is this sweet red floral print, also from Fig Tree. It’s very cute and cheerful, and it matches the scrappy vibe of the quilt. Which one do you like better?
