After arriving safely in WI, I headed to the popular course in the Madison area: Elver. It may become my new home course as I'm just 20 minutes away. Elver is just as popular as Johnny Roberts in Arvada, CO, but I went on a Monday morning, hoping it would be less busy. I met the owner of the local shop, MadMando Discs, on the course and he invited me to play this week's League Layout...Long tees to Red baskets.
Elver is challenging with the elevation changes and half of the holes are in the woods. I can't wait to get back to this park and beat the score I got this day, but for now I'll treat this as a benchmark for what I can do at Elver.
