Both sides looked exactly the same after a whole day of being outside, putting my hair up as they did after styling. Even after sleeping on it both sides looked really good. The foam side had less definition but held up just has good as the mousse side.
The mousse side stayed a little product-y and tangled easier.
Please note: some people can have allergic reactions so foam or mousse due to foam making ingredients. This can result in itchy scalp, eczema and a rash.
