Equipment of CNOOC Caofeidian Project produced with the participation of Cangzhou Tianmiao Company

Описание: The Caofeidian 11-1 Oilfield Expansion Project (also known as the "Caofeidian 11-1/3/5 Oilfield Comprehensive Adjustment Project") is a key production capacity enhancement initiative by CNOOC in the western Bohai Sea. Jointly declared with the Caofeidian 11-3/5 Oilfield Comprehensive Adjustment Project, it forms a critical component of the Caofeidian Oilfield Cluster. Located in the central area of the Caofeidian Oilfield Cluster in the western Bohai Sea, the project operates in waters averaging 23-25 meters deep and approximately 30 kilometers offshore. Through new infrastructure development and upgrades to existing platforms, the project aims to enhance oil recovery rates, achieve stable production, and increase output. It is a vital part of the Bohai Oilfield's "Seven-Year Action Plan".
This project involves treating oily production water to meet discharge standards before reinjection into the formation, and discharging treated domestic sewage into the sea. Drilling fluids and cuttings are processed separately: non-oil layers are discharged into the sea after meeting standards, while other waste is transported back to land for treatment. Construction schedules are carefully planned to avoid the marine spawning season (May-June), thereby minimizing ecological impacts on marine ecosystems.
This project will significantly increase the production of Caofeidian 11-1 oilfield, ensuring national energy security; it demonstrates a new model of "green development" for offshore oilfields, providing valuable experience for the sustainable development of Bohai oilfields; and is expected to generate substantial economic returns for CNOOC during its economic life, thereby enhancing the company's competitiveness
