Retracing our steps over some of the original 1951 ISDT route on the latest version of the popular Vespa GTS300 scooters – Piaggio's tribute to the 1951 originals, the special edition Sei Giorni (Six Days).
Fast sweeping corners, tight hairpins, steep inclines, autumn leaves, an abundance of conkers and little room for error, flying the flag for British bike and scooter journos by keeping up with the best of the Italian pace setters, leaving some of the other invitees to 'enjoy the view' behind.
Onboard footage and commentary shot with a Sena Prism action camera mounted to my Shoei RYD helmet.
