South Korea and the US have agreed to boost drills to better prepare for a potential North Korean attack. The announcement was made at the end of security talks on November 13, 2023, focusing on countering North Korea’s missile and nuclear programmes. Seoul and Washington will also start sharing real-time data on North Korean missiles with Japan starting in December.
