Here it is used as a bidirectional bunker seal. I originally went for the disconnectable mechanism because I didn't like how the seal left exposed soft sides, and was concerned about splash issues.
If the soft-sideable foundations are left sheet or HQM it should be okay though. One of the covering foundations can be protected by walls. The splash issues do not appear to be as severe as I expected, but requires further testing.
