The Seventh Pay Commission has officially concluded, but the story is far from over for the more than one crore central government employees and pensioners in the country. The biggest anticipation is for the final increase in dearness allowance and dearness relief for the period from July to December 2025. Currently, the dearness allowance stands at 58 percent, effective from July 1, 2025. This raises the question among employees: will their salaries and allowances be frozen after December 31, 2025? औपचारिक रूप से सातवां वेतन आयोग खत्म हो चुका है, लेकिन देश के एक करोड़ से ज्यादा केंद्रीय कर्मचारी और पेंशनर्स के लिए कहानी अभी खत्म नहीं हुई है। सबसे बड़ा इंतजार है जुलाई से दिसंबर 2025 की अवधि के महंगाई भत्ते और महंगाई राहत की आखिरी बढ़ोतरी का। फिलहाल महंगाई भत्ता 58 प्रतिशत हो चुका है, जो 1 जुलाई 2025 से लागू है। ऐसे में कर्मचारियों के मन में सवाल है कि क्या 31 दिसंबर 2025 के बाद उनकी सैलरी और भत्तों पर ब्रेक लग जाएगा। इसी बीच सरकार ने 8वें वेतन आयोग की शर्तें तय कर दी हैं और आयोग को 18 महीनों में रिपोर्ट सौंपने का आदेश दे दिया है, जिससे उम्मीदें और चर्चाएं दोनों तेज हो गई हैं।
