A cloudy and dull start this morning with hill fog, rain and drizzle in western Scotland, Northern Ireland, northeast Scotland, northern England and parts of central and southern England and Wales. Conditions stay mostly grey and overcast, though there are some sunny spells across central and northern Scotland, the western fringes of England and Wales, and a few brighter moments in the southeast.
