In this video, I’m raising rainbow trout so I can test out different trout flies and see what actually works. By watching the trout up close, I can learn more about how rainbow trout feed, react to flies, and decide when to strike, all to help me catch my first rainbow trout.

This was a fun way to learn fly fishing for trout and figure out which trout flies, colors, and movements get the best response. Seeing trout in a controlled setup helps me make better choices when I’m fishing rivers, streams, and lakes.
