Can Breast Cancer be cured without Surgery | How a Breast Tumor Was Destroyed in 30 Minutes

Описание: In this video, we share a remarkable case where breast cancer was treated without surgery, stitches, or general anesthesia using cryoablation technology at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital.

The patient had a small breast tumor (15 mm) and was considered high-risk for surgery due to age and cardiac concerns. Conventional surgery and anesthesia were not safe options. Instead, doctors recommended cryoablation, an advanced minimally invasive technique that destroys tumors by freezing them without cuts or sutures.

The procedure was performed under local anesthesia, guided by ultrasound. A cryo probe was inserted through a tiny skin entry point, creating an ice ball that safely destroyed the tumor. The entire procedure took approximately 30 minutes and was done on a day-care/OPD basis.

Post-procedure, the patient was comfortable, able to eat and move normally, and required no extended hospital stay. Follow-up imaging confirmed successful tumor destruction, with literature showing low recurrence rates.

This marks a first-of-its-kind cryoablation treatment for breast tumors in North India, offering new hope to patients who are not suitable for surgery.
