Come along with me for a cozy, real-life day in Amarillo, Texas. I’m a 52-year-old grandma and teacher, and this day started out calm and ordinary until an unexpected brushfire made it unsafe to stay at work and I had to head home early.
Once home, I slowed things way down. I took a nice shower, rested, and leaned into the comfort of being home. I made a cozy dinner of Salisbury steak and spent the evening working on my treehouse diorama, which is one of my favorite ways to relax and unwind.
This video is just a gentle slice of everyday life …teaching, safety, rest, comfort food, and creative time. If you enjoy slow living, cozy routines, and simple moments, I hope this feels like a warm cup of tea.
