Two suspects, including the son of a former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, have been detained in police custody after allegedly shooting and critically injuring a gardener at a Hyde Park residence in Johannesburg.
Gauteng Police Spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi confirmed that the firearm and cartridge allegedly used in the incident are still missing.
The 23-year-old victim has been taken to hospital.
Authorities have indicated that investigations are ongoing as efforts continue to reconstruct the circumstances surrounding the incident.
