Nicole Chang - Masters Harp Recital (2021)

Описание: Masters Harp Recital of Nicole Chang, performed April 10, 2021 at Walter Hall, Faculty of Music at University of Toronto.

The video had to be a bit stitched together due to issues with the livestream, and nearly all instruction was done remotely due to COVID lockdowns. All COVID protocols were followed in putting this performance together.

In hindsight, I had picked a somewhat over-ambitious recital program and needed more time for polishing; it was also a bit of a rough time due to all the COVID lockdowns. However, given everything, I was lucky enough to be able to bring my harp into the hall and perform. I'm hoping to revisit this repertoire and really polish things up, as I feel I'm a much better performer now (me writing this almost two years later) and I finally have a decent recording setup :D

A huge thank you to my teacher at the time, Judy, for all your wisdom and guidance; I grew tremendously as a performer, both musically and technically, and what I learned has transformed my harp playing and informed my teaching.
