**Exploring the 900-Year-Old Baltit Fort in Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan 🇵🇰 | Exploreez Travel Vlog Episod 18

Welcome back to *Exploreez!* In this episode of our Gilgit-Baltistan Travel Series, we visit the historic **Baltit Fort in Hunza Valley**, one of the most famous historical landmarks in northern Pakistan.

Our journey begins at Hunza Bazaar, followed by a beautiful uphill walk through traditional shops selling cultural clothes, traditional caps, handicrafts, antiques, and other items reflecting Hunza's rich heritage.

Inside Baltit Fort, we explore ancient rooms, royal belongings, historical objects, and fascinating stories about the rulers and royal families who once lived here. We also share the history of this remarkable fort and show you the historical treasures that have survived through generations.

Unfortunately, our experience was not as good as we had expected. Despite paying the entrance fee, we had to wait approximately 30 minutes for a guide. Eventually, we joined a guide who was accompanying foreign visitors. He explained the fort's history in English, which I translated into Urdu for our viewers.

We believe visitors deserve proper guidance, especially at a historical site of such cultural importance. A dedicated guide could have helped us and our Urdu-speaking audience understand the fort's history more completely. This disappointing experience affected our travel plans, and we decided to cancel the rest of our Hunza Valley tour.

This vlog shares both sides of our visit: the incredible history of Baltit Fort and our honest experience with the guiding arrangements. Our intention is to highlight an area where tourist services could improve while encouraging visitors to appreciate and preserve Hunza's precious cultural heritage.
