This is my alopecia story - from my first patch at 9 years old to being 31 and having alopecia universalis.
This video was harder to recall than I thought it would be, losing my hair was by far one of the hardest things I have gone through ( apologies for the sock tissue halfway through - the tears caught me by surprise!)
Hair loss is so common in men AND women and needs to be seen more so awareness is key.
I hope my story helps anyone going through the same, inspires those who haven't the confidence yet and educates those who don't know much about alopecia.
