Adiyapak, also known as Adadiyo Pak, is a traditional Gujarati winter special sweet made with urad dal, jaggery, ghee, and dry fruit. This nourishing sweet is rich in flavor and perfect to enjoy during cold days ❄️✨
In this video, I’m sharing an authentic homemade Adiyapak recipe that is simple, healthy, and absolutely delicious.
📝 Ingredients:
Urad dal flour (અડદની દાળનો લોટ)
Pure ghee
Jaggery (ગોળ)
Edible gum (ગોંદ)
Dry fruit (almonds, cashews, pistachio – chopped)
Dry coconut powder
Cardamom powder
👩🍳 Recipe Method:
1. Heat ghee in a heavy-bottom pan and fry edible gum until it puffs up; crush and keep aside.
2. In the same ghee, roast urad dal flour on low flame until aromatic and golden.
3. Add dry coconut powder and mix well.
4. Add crushed edible gum and chopped dry fruit.
5. In a separate pan, melt jaggery lightly (do not overcook).
6. Add melted jaggery to the roasted mixture and stir continuously.
7. Add nutmeg powder and cardamom powder.
8. Mix well until the mixture comes together.
9. Transfer to a greased plate, level it evenly, and let it set.
10. Cut into pieces while warm and enjoy!
