Описание: Welcome back to the fish room! 🐟 In today’s video, we’re giving you a full update on our Santa Maria Endler x Blue Star Endler cross, focusing on the second-generation results and our latest experiment: a re-cross to a pure Santa Maria male.

📌 Quick recap:
We first crossed a male Santa Maria Endler with a female Blue Star Endler. The first and second generations showed strong Blue Star traits, with a few individuals showing increased red in the chest area.

📌 New update:
We’ve now taken 3 virgin females from our pure Santa Maria colony and bred them with a male from the original cross, producing a ¾ Santa Maria, ¼ Blue Star Endler hybrid. We're aiming for more red and stronger Santa Maria traits.

📌 Next experiment:
To test how colour is passed on genetically, we’ll reverse the pairing and cross a female Blue Star Endler with a male Santa Maria. Could females be more of a blank canvas while males carry the dominant colour genes? Let’s find out together!
