In the 27th episode of our University Series, we bring to you the laxities in administration at GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Uttarakhand. Like several other universities across the country, this institution too suffers from shortage of funding and hence has several teaching staff on ad-hoc basis. What is startling is that some teachers have alleged that after several years of teaching as ‘contract’ teachers, their past experience is not counted while deciding their pay scale. (Audio in Hindi)
