1,000 MILES in My FORD GT! The Ultimate Bonkers Road Trip BEGINS

Описание: It's time for a truly bonkers road trip; taking my Ford GT all the way to Spain! We kick off from The Shmuseum with a massive first stretch all the way to Monaco via Lyon, and a drive through the Route Napoleon. Armed with roof box and crazy livery, let's get this underway!

Having literally only just arrived back from a few weeks travel, a mere 15 hours later, we are back on the road and this time in my Ford GT set up for the purpose. The biggest limitation of the GT is luggage space, hence we decked it with my roof box and matched that to the livery of the car, wearing Lhouette's HYPER POP artwork. The original art pieces that were scanned for this printed wrap are going to be auctioned next month with 50% of the proceeds going to support the charity, CALM, that supports mental health.

However, this is in many ways retracing the footsteps of my first ever vlog series; Adventures in the Shmeemobile, when I took my Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster to Monaco via the Route Napoleon back in 2011. Having not even been to Monte Carlo full stop since 2019, which coincidentally was also in the Ford GT, it's a welcome return to the ultimate land of supercars.

A journey like this certainly brings about complications like the GT's awful fuel tank capacity, the ski box on the roof held on with suction mounts, and the struggles with tiny French roads and parking garages. However, let's crack on and take it as it comes!
