In this video we take you behind the scenes of a dealership ceramic coating on a stunning BMW 8 Series, carried out at our Gtechniq Accredited detailing studio.

This vehicle arrived from the dealership for a full Gtechniq Platinum Protection install, but like many used and sometimes new cars, the paint wasn’t perfect. During the decontamination wash we uncovered heavy bird dropping etching, which required sanding and machine polishing before any ceramic coating could be applied.

We then walk through what’s included in the Gtechniq Platinum dealership-only package, how it’s applied, and why proper preparation is critical for long-term results.
