日付が変わった10月28日(火)AM0:50･･･今日と明日で何とか2曲アップ出来そうな状況に安堵しています。10月下旬･･･秋本番。ここ数日 東京は曇天。体感気温が一気に下がり 上着にジャケットを引っ張り出す有様。実りの秋が足早に過ぎ去っていくのは 少しばかり残念ではあるかな？
さて 今回アップしたのはガンダムシリーズ最新作｢Gundam GQuuuuuux｣エンデイングテーマ曲｢もうどうなってもいいや。｣。果敢にチャレンジしましたが･･･結論から先に申し上げると 作品としては凄く魅力的な曲でしたが 悲しいかな(^^♪私のPoor English Pronunciationでは出来ばえは今一つでしたね。物凄くアップテンポで疾走感が滲むリズミカルな曲に合わせ 相当な時間を掛けて単語を選び 曲の流れを忠実に再現したつもりでしたが 実際に歌ってみるとそのリズムに付いていきかねる感じでした。実際 日本語で歌ってもかなりハードルの高い曲ではないかな？。その証拠に 今回 アップした時点では you tube検索を掛けても この曲の英語バージョンは見つかりませんでした。それだけ難しいのでしょうね。
この曲や作品に関する色々なコメントを読んでみると･･･もうどうなってもいいやと云うタイトルが 主人公の心情=ある種の諦観を表現してはいるものの 決してそこから逃げず 果敢に挑んでいく姿をリアルに表現した内容らしいです。前回アップした｢夜に咲く｣で ガンダムシリーズがあらかた半世紀も続いているロングランの人気作品だと知りました。アニメのような大衆的サブカルチャーでは 時に何十年にも渡って人気を博す作品がクローズアップされますが 大衆的サブカルチャーには その作品に必ずと云って良い位に それが作られた時代の空気や感性が反映されます。従って 半世紀近くもシリーズが継続される作品では 初期のイメージから時代の変遷と共に それぞれの時代に合った作風が盛り込まれていくのが常だと思います。但し 根底に流れるコンセプトは外さないと云う不文律もあるようで このシリーズの根底に流れるコンセプトは 人の弱さを看過せず=弱さも認めた上で･･･それでも抗おうとするひたむきさを 掲げているのかとも感じます。ある意味 とても詩情伝かな曲なのかもしれませんね。

The date has changed, and it's 12:50 AM on Tuesday, October 28th...I'm relieved that I'll be able to upload two songs today and tomorrow. Late October...autumn is in full swing. It's been cloudy in Tokyo for the past few days. The temperature has dropped dramatically, and I've had to pull out my jacket. Isn't it a little sad that the fruitful autumn is passing so quickly?
So, the song I uploaded this time is "I Don't Care What Happens Anymore," the ending theme from the latest Gundam series, "Gundam GQuuuuuux." I took on the challenge bravely, but... to get straight to the point, it's a very appealing song, but sadly (^^♪ my Poor English Pronunciation didn't turn out that well. It's a very fast-paced, rhythmic song with a sense of speed, and I spent a considerable amount of time choosing words to match it, and I thought I had faithfully reproduced the flow of the song, but when I actually sang it, I felt like I couldn't keep up with the rhythm. In fact, I think it's a song that's quite difficult to sing even in Japanese. As proof of this, at the time of uploading this, I couldn't find an English version of this song even when I searched YouTube. I guess that's how difficult it is.
Reading various comments about this song and the work... it seems that while the title, "I don't care what happens anymore," expresses the protagonist's feelings - a certain resignation - it realistically depicts his courageous attitude of never running away from it and instead taking on the challenge. In my last upload, "Blooming at Night," I learned that the Gundam series is a long-running, popular series that has been going on for almost half a century. In a popular subculture like anime, Sometimes works that remain popular for decades are highlighted, but in popular subculture, the atmosphere and sensibility of the era in which they were created are almost always reflected in the works. Therefore, I think it's common for a series that has continued for nearly half a century to incorporate styles suited to each era as the times change from the initial image. However, there seems to be an unwritten rule of not straying from the underlying concept, and I feel that the underlying concept of this series is not to overlook human weaknesses - that is, to acknowledge weaknesses...but to still maintain the determination to resist. In a sense, it may be a very poetic song.
