About Module 3

Let's Learn to Plan with Yarn in the Weft as we learn more creative weaving techniques.

The goal of Module 3 is to help design projects with more forethought without losing your creative spirit. This module has two parts. In part a “Planning With Yarn In the Weft,” we will be looking at innovative techniques to use in the weft as you are weaving your cloth.

In Part B, “Planning with Yarn in the Warp,” we will be playing with color and texture as we explore creative warping techniques. All this is to take you through this stage of being Consciously Carefree and get you ready to become a Consistently Confident Weaver as you tackle weaving with two heddles in the next module.

As you progress through this module, the hope is that you will learn something new to continue building your rigid heddle weaving skill and give you confidence and spark your curiosity. Or if you are a more advanced traditional weaver that you will get a new creative spark to inspire you to add more creativity to your current projects!
