Making Baby Jason From Bronze Scrap Metal - Friday The 13th Casting Art

Описание: In this video I'll be turning some scrap bronze metal into a baby version of Jason Voorhees from the movie "Friday the 13". I modeled up baby Jason inside of Blender to start and added sprues to save a little time. If you add the sprues before 3d printing the piece, you won't have to try and manually add them later. I then 3d printed the part and made a plaster mold of Jason. The wax was then melted out overnight as it takes around 8-10 hours. I melted down the scrap bronze and poured the liquid melted into the mold. The piece was then cleaned up using multiple tools and polished to a mirror finish. The end result is an amazing bronze art statue to display with the rest. There are links below to most of the tools I used in this video. Some, however, are homemade so you won't find links to them.
